Getting started

What is EndowPath?

A readiness assessment that runs on your foundation's website, plus a workspace where your team handles the requests that come from it. Nonprofits see where they stand. Your advisors get organized, ready-to-talk requests with a brief for each.

How long does setup take?

We aim to have foundations live within about two weeks. Setup covers your branding, a review of the assessment, inviting your team and choosing who handles new requests.

Do nonprofits need an account?

No. They take the assessment, see their results and get a private link to come back to. There's nothing to sign up for.

The assessment

What does it ask?

Fourteen plain questions about reserves, giving, board policies and long-term plans. It takes about ten minutes.

Do people need exact numbers?

No. Money questions ask for a range, with a "Not sure" option, so organizations can answer with a reasonable estimate.

Can we change the questions?

You can add your own questions, link local resources and change the wording around the assessment. Scored questions, weights and bands are set by Plero, so results mean the same thing everywhere.

Does a bigger budget mean a higher score?

No. Budget and giving only feed the projection. Readiness is about reserves, policies, governance and plans, not size.

Your team

Who gets new requests?

You choose. Requests can go to an intake lead who assigns them, rotate between advisors, or all go to one person.

Can advisors use their phones?

Yes. EndowPath works as an app on the phone's home screen, with notifications for new requests.

Does it connect to our calendars?

Yes, Google and Microsoft. Each advisor connects their own calendar. EndowPath reads when they're free or busy and creates the meetings it books. It doesn't read the details of other events.

Privacy and money

Who owns the nonprofits' information?

Your foundation controls the relationship and the data, as set out in your agreement with Plero. Nonprofits agree to share their answers with you so an advisor can follow up. Plero processes the data to run the service and never markets to them.

Does EndowPath hold or manage funds?

No. EndowPath is assessment and workflow technology. It doesn't establish, hold or manage endowment funds, and its results aren't investment, legal or tax advice.

Can a nonprofit ask us to delete their data?

Yes. Admins can export or delete an organization's data from its case page. Every request is logged, and deletion includes backups once they expire.

Nothing matches that. Try a shorter word, or ask us directly.
